Status update, October 2026: X Browser has been discontinued. Smartproxy rebranded as Decodo in 2025, and Decodo still listed X Browser as a free download in March 2026. As of October 2026, its product page (decodo.com/apps/x-browser) redirects to the Decodo homepage, the help-center article about it has been removed, and Decodo's free tools now include only a Chrome proxy extension, a Firefox add-on and a Proxy Checker. You can no longer download X Browser or get it with a proxy plan, so the review below is kept for reference only.
